On resilience and planting (answering Cllr Robert Chapman): assistant director of parks, leisure and green spaces Ian Holland said anyone wanting to understand the summer’s impact should go and look at the colour of the grass on Hackney Marshes.
Asked what the plan was for parks in a heating climate, he replied: “I don’t have the answer. We’re working on it.”
