Hackney's new mayor Zoë Garbett spent her first 100 days "giving Hackney back to its people". The council newsroom hasn't quite got round to giving it back from her predecessor.
On news.hackney.gov.uk, the little box inviting you to "Sign up to receive Hackney news in your inbox" is still illustrated by a beaming Caroline Woodley, clipboard in hand, walking three delighted locals through the Hackney Town Hall Square consultation. Mayor Garbett has her own widget two squares along, so the page now offers one mayor for news and a different one for keeping in touch.
Hackney is Yours, says the new campaign. The newsletter, apparently, is still Caroline's.
