Homerton International Festival of Beer & Bar Snacks coming to The Adam & Eve
Easter Bank Holiday sees the return of the Homerton International Festival Of Beer and Bar Snacks at The Adam & Eve. The London boozer once again welcomes some of the finest food operators and restaurateurs in the capital to take the reigns in the kitchen from Thursday 29 March to Monday 2 April.
Critically acclaimed Thai barbecue bar Smoking Goat will be serving their roti rolls with Barbecue Goat Tumeric Massaman and the Adam & Eve’s own kitchen team, Rockadollar, will also be creating a selection of their own meat, veggie and vegan snack options. Expect to choose from a lengthy menu that includes Pig’s head nuggets with pickles and Kimchi mayo, BBQ chicken wings, Pan fried parsnip gnocchi and Vegan Bratwurst.
Alongside freshly made snacks, you can expect to try an array of packaged goods from the UK and further afield.
The pub will also be adding to their beer selection by bringing in cask and keg drinks from British and international breweries along with the International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day beer. The full range includes the likes of Howling Hops, Crate, Five Points, Hackney Brewery, Homerton’s own Boxcar, Cloudwater, Mikkeller and many others. A selection of gluten free and non alcoholic & vegan beers will also be available along with barrel aged beers and New England IPAs, with many more still to be announced.
The soundtrack to the festival will be supplied by some of the top names in the music industry. This year we’ll be joined by much vaunted vocalist and songwriter Nadine Shah, Pond frontman Nick Allbrook, Fay Milton of Savages and Anna Prior of Metronomy, along with Simone Marie from Primal Scream, US punk band L.A. Witch and broadcaster, former footballer and talented DJ Pat Nevin will all be on deck duties. The In Light Of Aquarius collective, featuring Ben Ayers from Rough Trade / Cornershop, will be playing a selection of R&B, Soul and Rock n Roll all from original vinyl 45s.
Entry throughout the weekend is free, with activities lasting well into the early hours each day.
