Hackney Citizen shortlisted for prestigious Niche Market Newspaper of the Year award
Judges at the 2017 newsawards have shortlisted the Hackney Citizen as ‘Niche Market Newspaper of the Year’.
The Hackney Citizen was picked as a finalist alongside specialist national publications including The Times Literary Supplement.
Other competitors for the gong include Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Today.
Winning and commended entries will be announced on 5 April at a ceremony at the Lancaster London hotel.
In 2011 the Hackney Citizen was a Newspaper Awards finalist in the Best Use of New Media category and in 2014 in the Niche Market category.
