Hackney Citizen shortlisted for prestigious Niche Market Newspaper of the Year award

Shortlisted: the Hackney Citizen
Judges at the 2017 newsawards have shortlisted the Hackney Citizen as ‘Niche Market Newspaper of the Year’.
The Hackney Citizen was picked as a finalist alongside specialist national publications including The Times Literary Supplement.
Other competitors for the gong include Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Today.
Winning and commended entries will be announced on 5 April at a ceremony at the Lancaster London hotel.
In 2011 the Hackney Citizen was a Newspaper Awards finalist in the Best Use of New Media category and in 2014 in the Niche Market category.
Hackney Citizen’s founding editor Keith Magnum said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted again for the Niche Market Newspaper of the Year award. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to our continuing success.”
