Job Title: Shelter Administrator
Contract Term: Permanent
Salary: £10,000 – £10,750
We are currently recruiting for a Shelter Administrator to support the activities of the Shelter Manager, volunteer Shelter Co-ordinators and Advocate Workers. This will be a varied role, the duties of which will include but are not limited to:
- Building relationships with and supporting volunteer shelter Coordinators, and assisting them with the practical role of running the shelters
- Supporting venues and their coordinators to be in compliance with Hackney Doorways policies and procedures
- Maintaining a database of shelter venues and volunteers
- Providing administrative support to the Chair of the Board of Trustees and the Treasurer
- Providing support to the Fundraising Team
This role will require some evening and weekend work, and hours will need to be negotiated with the Shelter Manager. It is therefore a position for somebody who enjoys varied work within a small team and does not mind working flexibly.
