Stamford Hill rave: police officers injured trying to shut down illegal block party
Riot police were hit with missiles as they tried to shut down a block party at Stamford Hill Estate last night.
Up to 1,000 revellers defied warnings from police to stay away from the event at Malvern House after it was advertised on social media earlier in the day.
Footage shows objects, including glass bottles, being thrown at officers as they attempt to disperse the crowds at around 9pm. Police later retreated and the rave continued into the early hours.

Witnesses say the atmosphere turned nasty when police confiscated the sound system.
One Twitter user, @otslondon, said it was a ‘terrifying’ experience and blamed it on the actions of ‘yobs’.
