Police release CCTV images following Old Street sexual assault

Police want to question this man

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a sexual assault in Hackney.

A woman in her 30s was approached just before 8pm on Saturday 25 July by two men as she was walking along Old Street.

Suspect one lifted the woman’s skirt and sexually assaulted her. There was then a short verbal exchange between one of the men and the woman.

The second man elbowed the woman and pushed her into a wall.

The two men then walked away along Hoxton Square.

The first is described as a white man, around 30-35 years old, 6ft 2ins tall with dark brown hair and stubble.

He was wearing a dark grey blazer, grey skinny jeans and blue suede lace-up ankle boots.

The second is a white man, around 25-30 years old, 5ft 6ins tall with curly light brown hair. He was wearing a light blue shirt and light blue jeans.
