Teenager arrested after man stabbed to death in Homerton

A teenager is being held on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death at a home in Homerton.

Scotland Yard said officers were called to an address in Morning Lane at around 10.15 am on Sunday 19 October after reports that a man had been stabbed.

Paramedics tried to save him but he was taken to hospital and pronounced dead shortly before midday.

An 18-year-old man was arrested at the scene and remains in custody at an east London police station.
