Hackney police launch investigation following Stamford Hill stabbing
Police have launched an investigation into the stabbing of a man in Stamford Hill this afternoon.
Police were called at around 2.15pm this afternoon (Wednesday 25 February) following reports that a man had been stabbed in Mount Pleasant Hill, E5.
The police and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene and found a man, aged in his mid-20s, who had suffered injuries.
Members of the public assisted in giving first aid as the man received treatment on the scene.
The victim was taken to an East London hospital and the police are awaiting an update on his condition.
There have been no arrests, and police enquiries are ongoing.
