Police appeal after man robbed at gunpoint

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following an armed robbery in Hackney.

Armed robbers threatened a 23-year-old man with a shotgun in broad daylight, before smashing his car windows and stealing his mobile phone.

The robbery took place on Tuesday 10 June at around 4pm on Navarino Road, E8.

Five suspects are wanted in connection with this offence.

Suspect one is described as a mixed race male aged 18-24yrs, with a tattoo on his neck. He was wearing a baseball cap and a hooded top.

Suspect two is described as a black male with stubble and sideburns, wearing a baseball cap and carrying a JD Sports bag.

The other three suspects are described as black males with Afro-style hair. They were wearing baggy clothing.

Five males, aged 20 and 21yrs have been arrested and were later released on bail. A shotgun has been seized.
