New parts of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to be thrown open to public in April
Waterways and parkland in the southern part of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will be thrown open to the public in April as part of the latest stage in the phased reopening of the leisure space.
Visitors can guide themselves around the park using a free Art in the Park booklet detailing a walking trail and 26 permanent artworks, according to an email bulletin from the London Legacy Development Corporation.
A range of cultural events will be taking place in the park to celebrate the opening over the weekend of the 5 and 6 April.
