Hackney Winter Night Shelter (HWNS) is staging a fundraising dinner next month as part of a drive to raise money to help it carry out its vital work providing hot meals to homeless people over the festive season.

The organisation provides shelter for homeless people during the cold winter months and year-round support to help those without a roof over their heads to find housing.

MP Diane Abbott will be attending the fundraising dinner at the Old School Rooms in The Round Chapel in Lower Clapton Road.

The event takes place on 12 December and doors open at 7pm.
