Detectives charge teenager with murder of Lamarni Hylton-Reid

Detectives investigating the killing of Lamarni Hylton-Reid in Homerton have charged a 17-year-old man with his murder.

He was due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Mr Hylton-Reid, 20, of Warwick Grove, Clapton, died in hospital after being stabbed in Homerton High Street at the junction with Kenworthy Road, E9, shortly after 5.10pm on August 21.

A 19-year-old man arrested for assisting an offender has been bailed pending further investigation.
