Man critical after early morning assault in Mare Street

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted near London Fields.

Police are appealing for information following the incident, which took place in the vicinity of The Dolphin pub in Mare Street at around 5am on Sunday 12 May.

A man was punched in the face, fell and hit his head on the floor, suffering serious head injuries.

Police have issued images of two men who they are appealing for help in identifying and would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
