Don’t Call Me
An exhibition of work by Danielle Hodson is showing soon at Outside World Gallery.
Don’t Call Me is the first London solo exhibition by this renowned artist, who bagged Koestler and Outside In awards in 2009.
This series of paintings, etchings and doodles explores the process of self- transformation, delving into Hodson’s belief that we all have a series of personalities which we adopt for different personal relationships, using different guises for different scenarios.
The exhibition is the first of three planned for the year and is organised by Mercadito Productions as part of the WISEWORDS programme (March 1-31) which celebrates women writers, performers and artists in a series of events and exhibitions in selected East End venues during Women’s History Month.
