London 2012 Olympic coin competition winners announced

The Hackney Citizen is delighted to announce the five winners to last month’s competition who will each shortly be receiving their prize of a specially-designed London 2012 Olympics coin.

Twenty nine coins were designed by members of the public, depicting a different Olympic or Paralympic sport. The shooting coin was designed by Pravin Dewdhory, a graphic designer from Hackney.

To have a chance of winning one of these coins, we asked readers to send in the correct answer to the following question: which of the following Olympic events will be held within Hackney?

The Citizen will be sending one of these collectors’ items to each of the five who answered the question correctly and whose names were pulled out of the ‘editor’s hat’.
