Three men arrested over Godwin Lawson stabbing
Three men aged 19, 20, and 20 were yesterday (Tuesday 7 June) arrested in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Godwin Lawson in Stamford Hill on Saturday 27 March. All are currently in custody at an east London police station.
Moise Avorgah, 19, of St Ann’s Road N15 is charged with the murder of Godwin Lawson and attempted murder of an 18-year-old man and 20-year-old man. He is due to appear at the Central Criminal Court (the Old Bailey) on Wednesday 16 June.
Lawson was attacked in Amhurst Park shortly before 2am, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people, aged 18 and 20, were also stabbed but have survived their injuries.

Daniel Riley, 21, Koffi Osimeh, 19, and Matthew Junior Lanihun, 20, have been charged with the murder of Godwin Lawson.
They have also been charged with the attempted murder of two men, aged 18 and 20. Lanihun has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, a lock knife.
