World Cup Jazz Ball
Drummer and percussionist Paul Clarvis is a veteran of the original world cup improvising gigs, and also incidentally, recorded the 2006 official World Cup theme and ITV’s World Cup music this year.
He has assembled two fine teams. Star players include Chris Biscoe (the Brian Clough of the clarinet, Henry Lowther (a world class dribbler), Sonia Slany and Alcyona Mick (both sensational around the box). Completing the team is Robbie Robson, heavily influenced by Nat King Ashley Cole.
The teams will be playing in Gillett Square where there will also be a big screen showing the football.
