March in memory of murdered teenager Godwin Lawson
Family and friends of murdered teenager Godwin Nii Lawson, who was stabbed to death in Stamford Hill last month, are holding an anti-knife crime march tomorrow, Sunday 25 April.
The march starts at 10am at Tottenham Green Leisure Centre, Philip Lane, Tottenham, and will go down the High Road and Stamford Hill to Amhurst Park, where family and friends will pay their respects at the spot where Godwin was killed.
The 17-year-old was attacked in Amhurst Park shortly before 2am on Saturday 27 March. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people, aged 18 and 20, were also stabbed but have survived their injuries.
Godwin was at the Oxford United Football & Education Academy. The club told the BBC that he was “popular and dedicated”.
