Cyclist killed in Stamford Hill lorry crash

A cyclist has died in a lorry crash in Stamford Hill.

The collision took place on Amhurst Park near the junction with Seven Sisters Road at 8am this morning.

London Ambulance Service attended the scene but the 29-year-old woman died from her injuries.

The driver of the lorry stopped and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been bailed to return, pending further enquiries.

Next of kin have been informed but officers await formal identification.
