Two more youths have been charged in connection with the murder of Jeremie Malenge, including a 14-year-old boy from Hackney.

The 14-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to appear in Stratford Youth Court later today, together with a 17-year-old male from Redbridge who is also charged with his murder.

Jeremie Malenge was chased and stabbed in the chest after an altercation with a group of youths in Homerton last week.

The former Petchey Academy student had spoken to police hours before his death and the case has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).

A 17-year-old female from the Hackney area has previously been charged with murder and appeared at the Old Bailey today.

There have been five arrests in total in connection with the murder, none can be named for legal reasons.
