Two teenagers arrested after Hackney murder

Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 19 year-old man was stabbed yesterday on Frampton Park Road, off Well Street.

Officers were called at 4pm on Monday 18 and found a man, believed to be aged 19 years, suffering from multiple stab wounds. He received treatment at the scene, but was pronounced dead at hospital.

The victim’s next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem examination will be held in due course.

A 16 year old was arrested on suspicion of murder this morning and a 19 year-old, arrested yesterday, remains in custody at an East London police station.

The police say they “retain an open mind” regarding the motive for the attack at this time and are appealing for witnesses.
