WOW! What an enlightening look into your world! I would just love to be able to make my hobby into a viable business but I don't really have the business head I guess. I have been stitching since I was 7 so 15 years now and I have never really had a dull moment. I find plenty of pieces that I like to stitch and the selection is becoming more varied. I just love the retro kits from Urban Cross Stitch and visited the stall in Brick Lane back in February/March (09) whilst working at an exhibition, I even went along to a cupcakes night and I was amazed at the amount of people that managed to fit into that tiny room! People were sitting on the floor in the end, all huddled together with their stitching! Such an incredible experience! I must attend again! Thankyou for such a lovely article!
